Today, marks the 13th anniversary of the Second Intifada also known as the Al-Aqsa Intifada. In West Bank and Gaza, many activities and demos to commemorate this anniversary and to highlight the ongoing violence and destruction of the Aqsa Mosque and assaults on it’s worshipers, were violently suppressed.
Unarmed civilians attacked, shot at, gassed and even targeted with live ammunition.
Yesterday, Israel confiscated already all ID’s of people entering the Aqsa compound to know who was ‘keeping ground’ inside the Mosque and restricted entry by issuing new restriction orders to prevent entry of as many as possible people and especially to all men under 50 who were barred completely.
Today, worshipers near Aqsa were attacked barely after they finished the prayer.
