BRUSSELS, (PIC)– Palestinian organizations based in Europe have appealed urgently to save thousands of Palestinians in Yarmouk Refugee Camp in Damascus, calling on all parties for opening a humanitarian corridor in order to ensure safe passage for people and basic supplies after 90 days of a continued siege.
In a joint statement issued on Friday, 19 human rights organizations stated that twenty thousand Palestinians including children, women and elderly people suffer inhuman living conditions in Yarmouk Refugee Camp that is subjected to a partial siege since nine months and a complete blockade since 96 days.
